It began with food at 6pm...
Then Eric Marley and The Darmain Wailers gave us a rendition of Redemption Song...
The crowd came in and planted themselves into their seats...
Prayers were read...
The Writings were chanted...
And our souls were uplifted...
Then more youth took over (from the other youth)...
They "rolled us over the ocean, rolled us over the sea..."
And sang to their hearts content!
Then we shared stories.... "First you 'Hallo, hallo, hallo' and then you don't know how but suddenly Baha'u'llah will make something happen!"
We found out just how receptive our receptive populations are... "After sharing about CC and JY they asked, 'Do you have anything for adults?'!!!"
The joy was infectious... "After the children found out we had to cancel class because of Thaipusam, they immediately asked for a replacement the next day!"
Eyes sparkled...
Hearts were astir...
So we broke into workshops according to receptive population...
And began consulting...
We exchanged numbers with new-found team mates...
Encouraged each other to arise...
And resolved to teach our beloved Cause together!

The Road Show started on a high and ended on a HIGHER!
Through the every corner of Shah Alam, SO MANY of the friends kept pledging with fervent enthusiasm -

Pelangi Damansara, truly a receptive population. Sharing and learning fosters the relationship and trust between children, junior youth , teachers and animators who actively participate in the Children Class and Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program.

What a ball!!
The CGC and community have been meeting and consulting together. Many of the friends are expressing such a strong desire to serve especially in the receptive areas!
Looks like this teaching campaign is going to be a good one…
Here are some pics from the first half of the CGC road shows.
Friends share the most unexpected things about themselves...
"What's special about aunty Poon?" Everyone is curious about everyone during group introduction.
"Dad, don't you understand what it means?!"
Laughter...the staple of every Baha'i gathering!
Some new things discovered:
SO MANY of the friends in OLD TOWN have birthdays on Holy Days!! Well, above the average Baha’i population for sure…
The DAMANSARA friends love their food – one gentleman is a chef (not professionally) and the other a food lover.
Inversely, the BSD friends consider the rest of PJ cluster as being ‘after-tol’. Surely the majority agrees that they are confused.
SS Central is the storehouse of both resources and yummy food. (and the Damansara friends are there grateful for their proximity)
